Data Management and Analytics - Level 6

In today’s data-driven world, the ability to manage and analyze data effectively is crucial for businesses to gain insights, make informed decisions, and stay competitive. The role of data engineers has become increasingly vital for organizations to manage, process, and derive insights from massive volumes of data.

The Data Management and Analytics course is designed to equip trainees with the fundamental skills and knowledge required to excel in this dynamic and rapidly evolving field. Upon successful completion of the course the trainee will have gained the listed competencies and can be certified as a Data Engineer.

Duration

  • 3 years

Assessment

The course is assessed internally and externally. Internal assessment is continuous and is conducted by the trainer who is monitored by an accredited internal verifier while external assessment is the responsibility of TVET CDACC.

Certification

  • On successful completion of a Unit of Learning, a trainee is issued with a Certificate that acknowledges the achievement of that competence. 
  • On successful completion of ALL units of learning, a trainee is awarded an ICT Technician Certificate qualification.
  • These certificates are issued by TVET CDACC in conjunction with KTVC

Admission Requirements

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E.) with a minimum mean grade of C- (C minus) Or
  • Craft Certificate Level 5 in ICT or a related course with one year of continuous work experience Or
  • Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)
