Kamukunji Technical and Vocational College (KTVC) is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution committed to providing quality, market-driven education and skills development. The College invites applications from suitably qualified, competent, and highly motivated individuals to fill the position of Procurement Officer.
Position: Procurement Officer
Duty Station: Kamukunji Technical and Vocational College
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Planning, coordinating, and implementing procurement activities in accordance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 and its Regulations.

Preparing annual procurement plans in consultation with user departments.

Managing the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of suppliers.
-
Preparing tender documents, requests for quotations, and contract documentation.
-
Maintaining accurate procurement records and inventory documentation.
-
Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring timely delivery of goods, works, and services.

Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.

Providing procurement reports to management and relevant oversight bodies.

Advising management on procurement and supply chain best practices.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field from a recognized institution.

Valid registration with the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) (Mandatory).

Demonstrable knowledge of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 and related regulations.

Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

High standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computerized procurement systems.
